They're true patriots OP. They're heroes. Her husband bought a dishwasher with the funds raised from her fans. She'll probably do the rounds and make a tonne of cash doing after dinner speeches, if her tag allows.

skippy67 · 06/08/2025 23:06

Lucy for Prime Minister! Gawd bless her!

HappySummerDays · 06/08/2025 23:10

He was sentenced to 38 months with half to be served in prison and the other half on license.
She was sentenced to 31 months with 40% to be served in prison.
I’m sure she will be delighted to come to a new dishwasher and £80,000 of debt paid off by the gofundme appeal

I really hope that this is ironic.

It's getting hard to tell these days.

abathofmilkwithladydi · 06/08/2025 23:19

I wonder how long it will be until she is a Reform MP...... vile, horrendous woman.

HappySummerDays · 06/08/2025 23:25

@abathofmilkwithladydi
I wouldn’t think she would have the intellectual capacity.,,even for Reform

abathofmilkwithladydi · 06/08/2025 23:34

I'm not sure that's stopped any of them so far.... even if not an MP, she's sure to be trotted out as part of their "Take Are Cuntry Bak" PR.

He says in the article that it wasn't about her being racist but admitting the contents were racist. Who write highly racist comments not being one bit racist! That makes no sense!

She followed far right activists and wrote several racist posts. She pleaded guilty to inciting racial hatred. If she put a sheet over her head and burned crosses, he'd probably say she's just quirky.

BrickSnakes · 22/08/2025 20:16

So today she has said that she is going to sue the police and Starmer and she is meeting up with Trump’s lot…I have already seen lots of people calling for her to be a Reform MP. She might as well, no one is going to hire someone who openly said ‘if that makes me a racist so be it’ to look after kids.

BrickSnakes · 22/08/2025 20:39

if anyone could explain to me exactly what she would be suing for when she pleaded guilty, I would appreciate that.

I've just read the Telegraph article and she's considering suing the police because they 'twisted' what she said during a police interview - which will be on tape.

She says that she just pleaded guilty to get home to her daughter and was shocked with the sentence. It doesn't make any sense because her solicitors would have been grossly incompetent to not let her know the sentencing guidelines for her crime. She also signed a statement saying she understood the crime and her reasons for pleading guilty. The appeal court found she pleaded willingly and was given appropriate advice.

Ah yes, looking back at the article I read (I read The Daily Mail as it was sent to me. I opened the comments and really regret doing so) I can see it says she’s considering it. But is meeting Trump’s administration which is wild.

I imagine even if she did sue she wouldn’t get anywhere? Especially as you say, everything will be on video. But that would only add to her martyr status in some people’s eyes I imagine.

SwedishEdith · 22/08/2025 21:00

Why was her release announced? Fairly obvious she'd be exploitable fodder for Reform/far right. Shame she hasn't spent her time in jail reflecting on how she ended up there.

I haven't seen anything about Trump but she's being more careful about what she says:

She added: “I’m well aware that the country needs immigration. I’m well aware that if we kicked every immigrant out tomorrow, we’d be screwed...It’s simply the fact that this particular group of people are unchecked and I don’t feel that it’s safe for our children to be walking the streets with people that we don’t know.

I’m sure the vast majority of them are really, really decent people just wanting to build a better life. But if there’s one or two in there, that’s too many for our children.”

I'm not sure how saying that the vast majority of asylum seekers are decent will go down with the far right and Trump.

Aha, that wasn’t reported in the Daily Mail, it was all about how she felt she was a political prisoner. A majority of the comments were in full support of her and treating her like she was a martyr. I think she will be about for a bit, doing interviews and gaining more of a following, Saint Lucy.

I don't know. She's obviously being careful about what she says as she's still under sentence. She can't be seen to be racist any more. She says that Jones shouldn't have been prosecuted either. They won't like that either.

Having read her X posts before the account was deleted I don’t think any twisting was required by the police in interview.

The police have said they are contacting her in the next few days to find out what her concerns are. If she had any sense, she'd keep her head down because she's under licence. She's being used by certain people to further their agenda and they don't care what happens to her.

Her police interviews will be recorded and her previous racist posts were used as evidence. Advice by her solicitor will be on file and the appeal found nothing untoward.

I agree, but the question is has she got any sense? Somehow I’’m doubtful….

Not if she's giving interviews about being a "political prisoner" and saying she lied to the court. Meeting Trump is not very bright either.

Gibstub · 23/08/2025 12:48

Suing Starmer? Don't remember him moonlighting as a court judge last year. This vile woman is deluded.

napody · 23/08/2025 12:54

Oh no, I hope she leaves Northampton- they've suffered enough at the hands of right wing councils and corruption. Does she take any responsibility at all for women and children in a peaceful area which has been multicultural for over 50 years being too afraid to leave their homes whilst baying racist mobs rioted?? (ironically many came into the area from tbe suburbs for a thugfest... that kind of immigration is OK though in her book....)

Squashing those riots in days is the best thing Starmer has done - makes up for a lot of blunders in my book.
