So long story short-ish, I got divorced in the United States courts but from and live in UK. I'm currently buying a property in the UK and the mortgage lender is asking me to produce a UK court order reflecting the child maintenance amount. I've looked on the website and it is saying that it takes months and I'm in the process of buying a house, we're moving about 3 and 1/2 hours away from where we live at the moment and part of that process includes me as a single mother in the UK moving my two children from where we are now into new schools that I've applied for to start in September. Also, as part of the process of buying a house is we're trying to fast track it and the sellers want to get rid of it as soon as possible and I want to of course move in. I'm currently in a rental and I've given notice on the property thinking that we would be able to get in by the end of August. I'm feeling mentally exhausted by it all. Can I get this fast tracked as this, has this ever been done under exceptional circumstances? Can anybody advise or give me opinions or insight please??
