Family court- child interview

My daughter has been interviewed by courts social worker as she hasn’t wanted to attend contact with her father due to shouting and neglect. The court recommended indirect contact. 4 months later she is to have another interview to see if anything has changed. She still does not want to attend contact and is still scared of him. Will the court listen to her feelings and court order either indirect or no contact. I’m really not happy with my child being constantly interviewed when she has been clear in her views. She finds it stressful and it isn’t fair to keep questioning her about it. She is 10. Thanks.

The court will certainly listen to her wishes and feelings and take them into account, but that doesn't necessarily mean the court will do what she wants. Contact may still be ordered even if she doesn't want it, I'm afraid. However, as she gets older her views will carry more weight.

It hasn’t been ordered it has been indirect for some time. My feeling will be it will be ordered indirect.
