BMW X1 X Drive 2022 on fire

Our car BMW X1 2022 model got burnt in Windsor Yard car park on 22nd September 2924. This happened when my husband was parking the car. My son and I was also in the car. We found fire sparking on the left light. We immediately came out of the car. I dialled 999. More than 3 fire trucks and hundreds of police came into the location to control fire and evacuated people. The fire damaged other few cars. Luckily no injury of people. This was a horrific shock for three of us. we till did not receive any feedback from BMW. Shall we contact with solicitors? Any suggestions will be helpful. Thank you.

Wouldn't your car insurance be dealing with this as part of their investigate as to the cause or fault. Did you have any repairs to the vehicle before the fire or removed the light to change to bulb which could have caused an issue?

What have you said to bmw? How did you contact them? Your insurance will pay up presumably.

BMW have recalls on some X1s due to a fire risk. Did you know this? 2017 cars backwards.
