Suitable thank you gift?

I have recently come to the end of a very long and painful civil case, and I’d like to get something to show my appreciation for my the solicitors and my barrister who have been so supportive over the last six years.

i was thinking of a donation to a legal charity perhaps one that specifically works with and for the rights of children, such as Coram (the case was around historic CSE) but I wonder if that’s a bit lame and wine/chocolates would be better appreciated?!

I’d do wine and chocolates - i think it’s really presumptuous to think that they should have to effectively donate their own thank you gift

but you may know that personally they’d prefer
that

Your thoughts on a charitable donation are very thoughtful….but I’d also give chocolates/wine/spirits/ biscuits as a personal thank you also.
im glad these professionals have helped you.
