1/2 Day @ Work - PT - what time should I finish?

So, I work PT 8:30 - 2:30 Mon - Fri. Get 30 mins lunch break at 12:30 and a 15 min break at 10:00.

I've booked a half day today, first time I have, I normally book full days off.

What time do you think I should finish? I was thinking 11:30ish? Mentioned it to my colleagues (who all work FT 8:30 - 5:00) and they said I'm "pushing it" and boss will want me to work til lunch (12:30).

For what it's worth, when the FT staff put a half day holiday in, they leave at 12:30.

If you normally work 5.25 hours a day then a half day for you is working 2 hours and 8 minutes, so leave at 10.45.

If the FTers work 7.5 hour days and start at 8.30, a half day for them is 3.75 hours so they should be leaving at 12.15.

Really though your leave should be counted in hours rather than days or half days, then you wouldn’t have this confusion.

They are making no sense and have forgotten you work part time. What are your contracted hours, book them to finish at the time you need or have agreed.
