How to see someone's plea

I provided a statement in relation to a case where someone provided no plea when they were arrested. Recently they've been to magistrates court for a first hearing. Is there any way of finding out if they made a plea in the hearing? I was told I may have to go to court, so I'm wondering if I can put it to the back of my mind, or if I might still be needed. It's not a massive deal so I don't want to contact the police, it's more to settle my mind.

You should have a Witness Care Officer or a Case Administrator allocated to you who will be keeping you updated on your case. I would contact them to ask.
