Hello, about a year ago my next door neighbour ( who happens to be my 1st cousin) started verbally abusing me while I walked in to my house as she was having a bad day I presume but she is known for causing arguments with her neighbours she had to move out of her old estate due to causing trouble as nobody talked to her. She then tried to drive toward me when I was leaving my home in my car.
I rang the guards and informed them of what happened and they basically advised me to stay away from her and ignore her etc.

She then went to the guards about the same issue and that we had been blocking her driveway which doesn't happen we know better not to provoke her .. police rang me back to say oh we had your cousin up here and basically try be civil and get along as we are family after all, I just agreed as I didn't want anymore trouble I just wanted to stay away from her and have no dealings at all with her.

Does anyone know would that have been added to the polices records? Like would they have added that to there system what i said about her and what she said about me? Say if my name was looked up on there system in the station ? Or cause it's a neighbour dispute would that just be civil and they wouldn't get involved in it ?

Police employee here...it may have been logged as a civil dispute. You can apply to your local police force for all information held about yourself. It may not include any reports they have made about you as they are protected under the DPA but you could ask.

If their conduct is ongoing it might meet the threshold for harassment and would have to be logged as such.
