Post Probate Waiting Time

Hi all.

What is the current waiting times for post probate applications? The HMCTS advices 12 weeks, but wondered if any of you have had a response quicker than 12 weeks recently?

We just got grant of probate back for my father in law in exactly 4 weeks. It was a simple estate though.

It was made online on 24th Jan this year and we posted the Will in on 3rd feb. We got the Grant of probate certificates through the post on Saturday morning, 1st March so all much faster than we expected.
