I slipped outside a shop it was a very wet day I looked down and there was cardboard on the ground like mush. I said to shopkeeper and she said there was dog poo on the ground so she put cardboard down to stop anyone standing on it and trailing it in I have just had an MRI and I have fractured my spine and my Orthopaedic Surgeon has said that will what would have caused. The question is should I claim for the injury? Thnx

You would have slipped in the dog poo

both the cardboard together became very slimy with the rain. I know the dog keeper is at fault as should have picked it up but surely the shopkeeper added to it by placing cardboard over it instead of removing it therefore no dog poo no cardboard no fall especially when she saw the weather outside
