So I regularly go to a Sainsbury's where it is a Euro Park. You have to spend £10 instore for free parking and you have to validate the receipt for parking.

Never been an issue and I've never had a ticket.

Recently I got a parking ticket. I can't remember if I forgot to validate the receipt, not sure why I would forget as I go so often. But I do have proof that I spent £25 in Sainsbury's.

Is this enough to appeal the ticket?

Any advice gratefully appreciated

I would go into the store - I used to work in a Sainsbury's and we had Eurocarparks - there was a portal where we could request tickets to be cancelled. Explain nicely to the front end manager/maybe show the payment on your banking app and they should be able to clear it for you!

Yes, just go back to Sainsburys and ask them to speak to the parking company. If that doesn’t work, go to Resolver and follow their steps, uploading the receipt and full details. I have had 2 incorrect (as I had shopped there) tickets cancelled this way.
