I've just seen the judges summing up on the sentencing of Adel Rudakubana. Please tell me this slip of the tongue where he says days instead of years is not going to be used as ammunition for a review .

No why would it?

I don't know enough about the law to know whether it could be jumped on as an inaccurate sentence therefore invalid . He said it correctly aswell but in one summarising said the number of years as days .

No, any more than if the judge had made a mistake with pronouncing his name that would invalidate the sentence. The sentence at the hearing has been very thoroughly considered and set according to sentencing guidelines, it’s all recorded down on paper in those terms - the judge isn’t just making it up as they go along so that somebody can say “ah ha, you said the sentence was 52 days, no taksie backsies.”
