Hello, has anyone reading this been successful in obtaining an occupation order?
I'm going through the process at the moment and wondering if it does get granted is my ex (husband) likely to be ordered to pay towards the mortgage as part of it? He can more easily afford to by the way if this makes a difference. I could afford to re-mortgage the house which will be looked into when we start the financial arrangements as part of the divorce however I suspect it will end up him buying me out as dont think I'd be able to mkrtgage enough to pay him 50% of the equity, but I can't afford the mortgage as it is at the moment as we have a short term/high monthly payment due to his really high earnings. Thanks for any info, I've been having a read up on it but can't find much info and seems they're not easy to obtain (which I'm unfortunately finding out at the moment also!)
