hey UK-based, could any of you share your experiences related to child custody arrangements that have been arranged through court with a baby looking for any advice and how things have ended for you all? Many thanks.

Child Arrangement Orders.
I've seen all sorts of applications and all sorts of outcomes.

It will usually be partially based on the current situation, and worked up from there with the child's right to a relationship with both parents if safe being optimal. Usually it will be staggered with overnights being built towards if the child isnt already very familiar with the non residential parent, and if young then breastfeeding will be considered.

Currently have 50/50 arrangement but my ex has changed it weeks before the court hearing by saying our eldest (10f) prefers to stay with him will this go against me ?

You should have started your own thread rather than reviving an old one. You may get posts from people responding to the OP rather than you.

If your daughter genuinely prefers to stay with him, the court will take that into account. However, the court won't necessarily do what she wants, and the fact he has changed the established arrangement shortly before an impending hearing may damage his case.
