ET3 Extension Request

I am going through an employment tribunal and my former employer requested an extension to their ET3 response.
I was cc’d in in accordance with the rules and was given 7 days to oppose.

Before I’ve had chance to formally reply they’ve decided after 2 days to allow it.

How is that fair ? Any advice?

Sounds like someone has made a mistake. If you want to oppose the extension, do so now and point out that the decision was made before the deadline for your response had expired.
