I wish to view the daily log of my teens foster carer as she is making claims I dispute are happening. Can I get thes particular records from the FOI route while they are still in care?

No it would be a subject access request based on your child being a minor and your having parental rights. However there are exemptions to this.

You should write to the social worker and ask for the information you want and why.

if they refuse in part or as a whole they should respond explaining why.
