I live in a terraced house. The house next door is owned by a woman who currently lives abroad and is renting it out through a rental agent.
Three weeks ago the police raided the property. The house was unoccupied but being rented by men who didn't live there but visited for 10 minutes each day. The police were alerted to this suspicious activity and battered down the front door and found the cannabis plants and equipment. They secured the front door with sheets of plywood drilled onto the door and over the keyhole.
Yesterday evening the men came back and entered the property through the back door using their key and stayed 90 minutes (the house is empty of all furniture).
Please can anyone advise is it legal that they are able to continue with the tenancy? Thank you.
