Hi,

According to me contract when do I need to give notice?

We paid one month rent in advance, so am I correct that we can make a final rent payment on 1st February and move out on 28th February?

And if so, do I need to give 2 months on 1st December or 28th December?

I want to give it as late as possible as we are buying a house so dates are up in the air.

Thanks in advance!

When did the tenancy start, and how long was the fixed term for.

MsChatterbox · 28/11/2024 05:38

It started nearly 6 years ago and it was for 12 months so we are well out of that!

If you are out of fixed term (which you are), you should give them 1 month notice in accordance with your contract.

Says 2 months notice doesn't it?
