Communication breakdown

DC14 and DC13 went to child led mediation a few months ago. Feedback included both asking NRP to communicate more proactively, and interact with them more, directly and indirectly; both said they would like more flexibility with alternate weekend arrangements.

Since mediation (as has always been the case) there is minimal to zero indirect communication between DC and NRP. DC spent 24 hours with NRP in June, mid-summer and mid-October. Direct communication is superficial, a lot of time is spent gaming (DC told mediator they find this “boring”!)

NRP now instructing solicitor to demand I adhere to CAO (EOW Fri - Sun).

Marriage ended 2017, after 9 years of silent treatment and stonewalling: if I didn’t toe the line, NRP would sulk (20+ days at times). This was deemed emotional abuse. From my perspective, I think these behaviours are now being repeated with DC.

Should I apply for variation to reflect the “live” situation? Or wait for NRP to apply for enforcement?
