Can I do anything? Workmen not done job properly

We got new doors fitted throughout our house whilst we were away at a caravan for a weekend.
My DH knows the guy so on the Saturday he sent a quick video and asked for payment so we paid. Got home on the Sunday night, no doors shut properly , haven't been attached properly and 2 are damaged. Also still has the bathroom lock
This wasn't thru a company although the guy is self employed. He has admitted in texts (but now ignoring us) that a door is damaged and other issues but says he doesn't have the time to come back to sort anything. He knows fine well that he's done a rubbish job and has well and truly screwed us over.
Can I do anything to even report him?

You have given him the chance to fix it and he has not done so. You can now get someone else to fix it and take him to small claims to recover the cost of fixing his poor workmanship.

He may be on Checkatrade where you can leave a review. Contact him again and give him say 2 weeks to rectify problems or refund you, or else you will have no alternative than to take him to The Small Claims Court.
