My ex has spent years using my son aged 13 to make mine and my husbands life a misery. He has taken me to family court twice to confirm contact arrangements. My son has now said he wants to live with his dad but he is refusing to increase contact to anymore than two weekends per month. Does anyone know where I stand legally on this? Thanks

You don't stand anywhere legally or otherwise. Your son may want to live with his father but if he doesn't want to oblige then that is it.

If he agrees to DS moving in then back to court for a variation and CMS for maintenance.
Sorry it's a horrible situation.

So Dad doesn’t want his son living with him? Nothing you can do to force this - perhaps focus on the reason why your son wants to move out, family therapy might be useful it sounds like you have all been through the mill

The legal stance is basically- tough. Nobody can force his dad to increase his contact.
