DVLA Appeal

Hi there, does anyone know how long it takes to get an appeal listed in the Magistrates Courts for a revoked driving licence? So if I applied tomorrow, for argument’s sake, when would the hearing be likely to take place? Thanks in advance.

Might be better asking in a motoring forum like pistonheads or Pepipoo

I guess it depends on why it was revoked? have to renew mine every 3 years and failed to get my medical docs to them in time. As soon as they received the info I was issued a new one.

Slightly similar- I was a week late in getting the Group 1 Sight Test done. I do have a defence but don’t want to go into detail in case there is actually anyone there at the DVLA who reads these things, although to revoke it was such a harsh blunt instrument that I believe just one person and a silicone chip runs the entire shebbang.

@Walker1178 did you have to return your licence to DVLA in the meantime?
