CMS/CSA - can't see where on my case I can add a variation

I applied yesterday on the CMS website, got my case number, but I need to add a variation in. Official line is you can add it either by phone or online, but I can't see anywhere where I can add it online? Can I not do this until the case has been fully processed? Seems a bit silly to be able to do the first part and not add in anything else until they've processed it!
Thanks

It’s not actually called a ‘variation’ unhelpfully on the portal.

You have to raise it under ‘Additional Income’ - and raise a separate one for each ground - (1) assets, (2) unearned income and (3). diversion of income. Keep copies of everything you upload since the portal is hopeless/you can’t see what you have sent once uploaded (it’s not like email).

If you can’t add it yet on the portal then phone them (expect a long (maybe an hour) wait) and tell them each ground you wish to raise the variation for. Keep notes of date/time/info of your call. It’s worth trying to raise the variation as soon as possible since think it is backdated if any additional income is found.
