Hi - in order to claim for compensation under EC-261, do I need to actually take the flight or will just checking in (getting a mobile boarding pass with the intent to fly but not taking the flight) be enough? context: I bought a different flight because the delay was very late at night meaning there would be no transport when arriving home on the delayed original flight. Ryanair are saying I cannot claim but didn't fly, however I checked in and arrived at the airport.
