REMO Process - Application to pursue child maintenance abroad

Hello 😌 I am completing the financial circumstances form as part of this process to try to get my daughter’s father to pay maintenance since moving abroad 4 years ago! It is only child maintenance (nothing for me) so do I still need to enter all my own financial details? She is the ‘creditor’ so is she also the applicant or is that me? Just not sure why my income and outgoings would be relevant?

Grateful for any advice from anyone who has been here before me…. 🤞🏻

@JoyousPanda You do have to complete the finances part of the application and your ex will have to do the same. These will be the basis of the legal agreement drawn up by the relevant court in the country where your ex is now residing. REMO will act on your child's behalf and as you are her parent you complete the forms. If she is over 18, then your child will have to complete her/his own paperwork.

@JoyousPanda there is a much bigger thread on here for REMO cases. I also have my own Facebook group, Get Child Maintenance from Abroad.

@JoyousPanda Has anyone done the REMO route for child maintenance. That's the name of the other thread (in case you wanted to know!)
