Public Liability Insurance for refreshments stall

Our street is planning a yard sale, mostly for charity. People will have stalls, tombolas, etc. on their drives. One neighbour has a large driveway, and has offered to host the refreshments, but I wasn't sure whether this would be covered by the public liability part of their house insurance or whether it would need to be done separately (or indeed if all of us would need insurance). Just being cautious because someone claimed for an injury at another charity event nearby (serial claimant, apparently). Does anyone have any experience of running this type of thing?

I would look at getting 'event insurance' for the entire road, shouldn't cost very much if everyone chips in. Probably about £50 or so.
