Auto renewal of contract

My business took out a five year contract with CRONER, in 2019, to assist us with health and safety, contracts and HR.
We have automatically been enrolled again, in July, for another 5 years without any notification from them.
We were about to cancel the contract as we don’t use the services.
I contacted them saying I wanted to cancel and they said we had to give 6 months notice to cancel before our original contract ended.
They won’t move saying it clearly states in the t&cs on the 2019 contract that they do not have to notify us of auto renewal.
Is there anything I can do? Any advice will be greatly received, thank you

I'm afraid the short answer is no. The terms are clearly set out in their contract.

The longer answer is that you could try taking them to court and claiming this is an unfair contract term, but that would be a long shot.

If I were you, I would give them written notice now that you want to cancel when the renewed contract comes to an end in 2029.
