Rp not complying to immediate contact order

To summarize the situation,

My son's former partner fabricated lies and prevented him from seeing his daughter.

He sought legal recourse through the courts.

She made absurd and false allegations that were later disproven.

The judge ordered immediate contact as there were no safeguarding concerns.

However, she has disregarded this order.

Due to her mental health, we are unable to contact her directly.

As a result, we are awaiting the involvement of CAFCASS (Children and Family Court Advisory and Support Service) to determine the next steps.

Any advice or expertise regarding this situation would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

Go back to court and ask for the order to be enforced.

Go back to court and ask for the order to be enforced.

Thanks, how would Cafcass view her not allowing the contact?

We are child-focused all the way.

Where she really has not been at all.

Cafcass are there to advise the family courts, not to enforce orders. Assuming all attempts at resolving the matter without returning to court have failed, their only involvement would be that the court might ask them for advice on the impact on the child and parents of the possible enforcement measures.
