can anyone help with a CAO court order already in place please?
the order was meant to be watertight - but i am now in conflict with the NPR discussing school holiday dates.
the court phone line cannot help. Thanks

I have one. Mine was also meant to be watertight but ex went through it, found every loophole and had exploited it! What is the holiday issue?

Notcms · 02/07/2024 14:20

Ex dates for a week with kids in summer hols is written as:
'starting the 4th monday of the school holiday'

school ends after school on Monday 22 July. Some local schools are on inset that day.

when is the 4th monday of the school holiday?

Holiday starts on Tuesday 23rd so the fourth Monday is the 19th August.

If the 22nd is a day when they are in school then that is not part of the holiday. So the first Monday of the holiday is 29th July and the 4th Monday is the 19th August as the previous poster said.

Where I live, the local council has this on the their website:

Summer term dates

  1. Monday 15 April to Friday 24 May 2024
  2. Half term: Monday 27 to Friday 31 May 2024
  3. Monday 3 June to Monday 22 July 2024
  4. Summer holiday: Tuesday 23 July onwards

They quite clearly say, for our location, that the holiday starts on the 23rd.

Does your local council have something similar?
