Hi I'm a social housing tenant in a block of 6 flats , I recently queried the service charge because I had noticed they was charging for gas nearly 3k a year that we don't have , they are also charging 3 k electric for 2 motion lights only on at night and 2 fire alarms in total it cost 47 pounds a week , they admitted the gas was "in error" but now they are refusing to let me see the accounts and invoices by law I am allowed to view them I believe. On their own website it says that we are allowed to view them, but even on there they are trying to charge 60 pounds after 6 months to see them and 36 pounds to send them to are they allowed to do this by law?
I'm fed up of being conned any advice would be welcome
