I'm applying for probate after the death of a family member, so i'm filling in forms about the estate value etc for Inheritance tax.
The section about gifts made in the past 7 Years i'm sure I have to put loans to family members that arnt paid back yet as that ups the value of the estate,
But do I put the loans that people repaid already as that money would already be included in the estate?

A loan that has been repaid does not need to be declared.

Loans made in the last 7 years are not gifts. They are debts due to the estate. You need to complete form IHT416 for each loan and get the family members to pay the money back. If they are due to inherit, they could pay it back by having it knocked off the amount they inherit.
