Is it worth reporting emotional abuse?

My baby dad was emotionally and mentally abusive to me during our relationship. Now I have his child, he is also financially abusing me.

I have kept journal entries, messages, calls, have eye witnesses, therapist reports, gp reports, midwife reports and social service reports, a work HR report documenting the abuse from when it started up to present.

I want to report becusee I want to protect my son, but his father is a narcissist and to others, he is very charming and manipulative. I am scared I wont be believed and there will be repercussions.

Does anyone have any experience?

Just adding that we are no longer together and our son us 7 weeks old. He sees our child often to play with him/ feed him.

What do you want to achieve OP? Do you want him charged? Do you want to stop access?

Even if you are believed it doesn't mean he will be prevented from being in his child's life.

How is he financially abusing you? Do you not have your own home and money?

I want controlled access for our son, e.g. I have full legal custody and he has arranged visits. I also want closure and justice for myself

I have no idea, but he has a criminal record and was in a gang as a young adult. He can be very sneaky and covert. It worries me

I mean do you think you're in danger? That would be my first concern. I wouldn't do anything that put my life in danger.
