Hi all, just asking some advice for a friend. We’re in Scotland and q is, can historical infidelity be grounds for divorce? I.e. it happened 10 years ago and they seemed to have moved on, living ‘normally’ since? I think there is quite a lot of unresolved trauma. TIA

After 10 years they will be considered to have condoned the adultery and therefore would be unable to divorce on those grounds. They could, of course, divorce on one of the other grounds such as unreasonable behaviour.
