Hello wise ones of Mumsnet!
I'm in the early stages of founding a start up, and am currently a one woman band with no funds for proper legal advice regarding this. I have designed a product (an item of clothing) and, when doing my due diligence checking the design registry on gov.uk, have come across some very similar designs which are currently registered.
Can anyone help me make sense of the law around this? My designs do differ slightly but the last thing I want is to get into legal hot water before we've even launched!
