Long winded so sorry in advance.
My partner took his 3 children 3 years ago (now aged 11, 9 and 5) due to there mum and stepdad being abusive to each other and the children. He has also suffered mental abuse at the hands of her. Court and SS have been involved for 18 months. A year ago 11 year old decided he wanted to live with mum, social services and courts ruled this. Unfortunately mum was still secretly seeing stepdad and resulted in 11 year old being in a high speed police chase. Social services didn't act quickly enough so I didn't get him returned to my care. Stepdad is now in prison. But mum entered new relationship immediately after. New boyfriend has rape charge aswell as other domestic abuse charges. Is a known drug dealer and taker. I have told social services about this since the start of the year but they have just told me "mums denied it". S37 was done, professionals agreed eldest should stay with mum as he is happy there and youngest to stay with me. Youngest get 1 hour supervised visit with mum a week.
Currently waiting for date for contested hearing but in the meantime more proof has come about whereby proving mum has a new dangerous boyfriend and is again putting children at risk, I've been informed social services have recieved reports off other people concerned and are building a case against mum.
Just wandering if anybody knows what can happen now? Will the s37 be amended if they deem necessary? Will the contested hearing go ahead?
