Any help appreciated please. I left my car in two weeks ago for a routine service. It's a regular and established mechanic I've been using. I phoned the next day and the next and the next etc..texted and called by. The workshop has been closed and my car is not in visible on the premises (but possibly in the small shuttered workshop). He has gone bankrupt according to locals, and appears to have opened up a new company. Called again today. Still not open. No response on phone - switched off. This is nearly two weeks! Is this something that the police can help me with? Any help appreciated. It's been an inconvenience and so stressful!
