We had a uPVC conservatory roof replaced with a flat rubber roof with glass lantern. Work completed in November, first noticed issues in February with patches of damp on ceiling. It’s under warranty so company have been back out to identify problem. They been out 4 times now and the latest “fix” has made it significantly worse, woke up this morning to water dripping from ceiling in multiple places.
I don’t think they have taken the issues very seriously to date, and I have no confidence in their ability to fix this.
I don’t know what to do next. What could we hope to achieve by involving a solicitor? I’d really quite like our 16k back plus damages so we can go elsewhere to get it sorted… but I’m conscious that it might start to get very difficult with the company if we go down this route.
