Do all owners need to sign something to transfer ownership of land?

I have inherited a property with 3 siblings. One of them has taken a strip of land as they live next door-we all more or less agreed to it verbally but can the deeds be redrawn without the other 3 owners signing to agree to the transfer?

Yes they do if they are legal owners.

All owners of the legal estte will need to sign. If there is only one registered at the land registry a second legal owner (trustee) will need to be appointed.

You'd be mad not to go through a solicitor for all of this. they should be advising on this.

Thanks so much - solicitor is involved although sibling thinks their side is all done & sent off even though none of us have signed anything. Appreciate the responses 😁
