Enhanced dbs drink driving offense

I have a drink driving offense in 2012, caught the morning after a night out still over the limit. Received a fine and driving ban.
I've had two enhanced DBS since for work which it has shown up on (the last being 2016), but will be volunteering for my DS beaver group in the summer and they require an enhanced DBS. Will it still show as it was longer than 11 years ago?
I'm not sure why but it really worries me what the scout leader will think!

Yes the SA requires an enhanced DBS for volunteers.

Yes it will always show. All you can do is be upfront about it as obviously you can't hide it.

It will show up as it’s enhanced. You need to be honest before they apply for it. It doesn’t mean you can’t volunteer (or even be a teacher) but you need to let them know.

I believe they show for a lifetime

Just let them know beforehand. Everyone makes mistakes.

Based on that website it would be removed after 11 years and not show as far as I can see

Ignore those posters who say it is there for life. They are wrong. As it is more than 11 years since your conviction, it will not show up on an enhanced DBS check.
