Divorce progressing, no finances sorted

Hi
I applied for divorce In October, not realising I would have to pay for mediation. I can't afford this, so not done anything else yet.
Now I've received an email saying a conditional order will be granted soon with final order in May..
Now what? I'm genuinely not going to be able to afford mediation for some time (I've contacted several places it's about £350).
Thanks

Once you have your conditional order you don’t need to apply for the final order until finances are sorted, I think you have 12 months from conditional order being granted to apply for the final order. You can apply for an extension if that isn’t enough time to resolve finances.

Thankyou @BooksAndHooks
Do you need to pay to apply for an extension?

Is it easy to get an extension?

You might be better putting this post in Divorce Section, where I’m sure you will get some help.
