PR - Moving house / abusive ex

Myself and two children are moving house shortly. By law do I have to give my abusive ex, and father of both children, our new address? He has PR. We are moving in the same county and I would rather not give him our new address - purely due to his abusive behaviour which has continued intermittently since we split 5 years ago. Is it sufficient to say which town we are moving to?

Yes that should be more than sufficient, legally you don’t have to give him your new address (I believe, anyway)!

You don't have to tell him but he could track kids by their tablets/mobiles/watch....
If they are old enough to say he may quiz them.
You won't be able to keep it up the older they get. They will memorise address and could give him information.
I'd advise you not to sweat too much over it as one day he'll know anyway, that's just how it is.
