Whistle blowing

Can anyone advise me on whistle blowing? If I contact a solicitor who is running a case against an organisation about things that organisation is hiding, will I risk being outed?

I work for another organisation and have knowledge of a huge risk to life that is not being managed and the organisation responsible are covering it up
