How do I find out what the charge is and what conditions are set for someone on bail?
I know someone who I have been told is on bail but has been for some time. They apparently have bail conditions
Is the public allowed to know what the charge is and what conditions are if it hasn't been to court?
I know the person but not well enough to ask them and I am moving soon and will be in their company a lot

Essentially, no.

The only way you'd be entitled to know anything is as a victim or otherwise someone affected by the bail conditions ie banning them from being in your company so you'd need to know.

If they have not yet been convicted, nothing will be in the public domain nor will you receive anything if you were to apply for it as an ongoing criminal investigation is not subject to FOI.
