Can the family court go ahead and do the order in my absence, an arrangement order to be set in place? It's just a very civil one nothing big involved just a simple order?

I was told if I didn't attend it would go ahead. Was quite a long time ago though..

Yes, the court can make an order in your absence. There isn't enough information to advise as to whether that is likely in your case.
