Suing a solicitor

Does anyone know, if you sue a solicitor for negligence, does their insurance company go after them for the costs once the case is over or does insurance cover everything? This is in Scotland in case that makes a difference. Thank you.

They'd have to lose the case to have their insurer go after them for costs I'd assume though?

Yes, that's what I'm asking. If the solicitor loses the case and the insurance pays out to me, does the insurer then go after the solicitor separately to recover what they've paid out? Thanks
