AP1

I asked for a copy of an AP1 form used to attach a lease to my property. I noticed that the company deleted the guidance notes to the left of section 13. I have seen this on other forms so knew straightaway something was missing. The guidance states if x is in the second column it means the company that sent the application represented you. There is a x in this column next to my name. What I’m trying to figure out is why they would do this. There must be a reason. Any ideas? My mortgage lender did not give consent to the lease. Could this have something to do with why it appears the company removed these notes?

Removing the guidance notes has no effect whatsoever. My money would be on them using the Word version of AP1 and removing the notes by mistake.

That’s what I thought must have happened, but it just seems very strange that particular part of the guidance was deleted. It would make it difficult for someone like myself to make sense of the form if it hadn’t been for the fact I have seen other forms like it.
