If you make a formal complaint to a company and get no response after 21 days (apart from the acknowledgment), where do you then go?
Already have a thread re trying to get my money back through bank as company didn’t provide a service.

If it’s financial they have 8 weeks to respond and then you can take your case to the financial ombudsman

It depends what the service is. However, you have the option of sending a letter before action (Which? has a good template) giving them 28 days to respond and stating that you will take legal action without further notice if they fail to respond. That is the first step in taking them to court.
