hope this in the right place !
Two weeks after having a boiling water tap installed, it has started to leak in a couple of places. The tap was bought online from a major online retailer in Oct. 23 but only installed recently.
The retailer has offered to send a repair kit through the post for me to fix the problem myself. I have responded to say I'm not qualified to do this and they have said there is nothing more they can do and that they have met their responsibility to remedy the problem. Their position is that they have offered a repair, I have countered to say that they have only offered the equipment necessary for the repair and not the expertise.
I'm going to speak to Trading Standards but was hoping someone with experience or knowledge could advise.
The tap was not cheap and I am not impressed !!
A little good advice would be appreciated.
