Signing my will

I am abroad atm. I need to ask my local friends to witness my will. I am uk citizen, they are not. Does it matter? They are a married couple I have known for decades. TIA.

Thank you. I did look that up but I still wasn't quite sure about the citizenship aspect. I guess it must be ok.
