2 bed or 3 bed home divorce ?

I have two daughters 12 and 16 (last year of school). Ex has provided 2 bed homes as ‘suitable’ for me to live in as part of FDR process for courts to view examples of what they cost in the area.
I would argue we need a 3 bed as they both need their privacy and quiet spaces for their homework. They frequently bicker. It would not be peaceful if they had to share. There is much resentment from the youngest to the eldest as her father has nigh on abandoned her yet he pours out money on the other. How do I get an argument across that a two bed house is inadequate? I want to be able to support both girls.

He’s being a cheapskate, get looking at 3 bedroom houses yourself. It shows he knows nothing about his daughters.
Are you going through solicitors?

Yes, I supplied details of 3 beds for him and me. How to convince a court succinctly though?

Look at benefits rules. If you need Universal Credit for Housing Costs then up to 16 children of the same sex are expected to share a room. Post 16 they're entitled to a room each.
